Ecstasy in Edmonton
Randi del Marco

Hollywood Romance(TM)
Second in the Pepper On Location series

The time is just after Christmas and it is cold, very cold when Pepper, producer’s assistant extraordinaire, arrives in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada -- home of the world’s largest indoor mall. And with all that cold weather outside, the huge mall is a necessity if Pepper doesn't want to freeze to death on the set.

But there are other ways to keep warm.

While her boss Dustin, a tough-as-nails producer, fights to keep the show on schedule and under budget despite a neophyte director and an antagonistic writer, Pepper takes advantage of a new city to connect with the men it has to offer.

But does she end up with Jerry the writer or Peter the Ukranian PA with a PhD? When Pepper does hook up, you can be sure there is sizzle ... for snow and ice can fuel desire and fire up eroticism -- for Pepper and for you, the reader too, as you vicariously experience Pepper's pleasures through the pages of Ecstasy in Edmonton.

Electric Vibes -- A Ferguson Films Fantasy
Erica Leigh Madson

Hollywood Romance(TM)
ISBN: 978-1-880413-61-6

Love and sex in Tinsel Town. Electric Vibes is the story of Jerry, a rigging electric, and Sophie, a gorgeous young student from Long Island who has come to Los Angeles to study history at USC.

Sophie experiences bare bones lust when she first sees Jerry, his muscles outlined by the sweat of his work on a film set one hot summer day. When Jerry realizes just how much this statuesque brunette desires him, their passion can only get hotter. And hotter.

The grandson of famous producers William and Mary Ferguson -- who moved filmmaking from the era of the post war talkies into living color and into the cultural dominance Hollywood films have on the world today -- Jerry is taking a year off before entering USC’s famous film school. Working below-the-line as part of a film crew is a satisfaction Jerry needs at this time in his life; an escape from the constant pressure his famous family brings to the entertainment industry.

Telling tales of a business that makes its own rules, Electric Vibes is the first installment in a series about an extended film family whose members reach into all parts of the Hollywood movie making machine.

Electric Vibes was given 5 Hearts from The Romance Studio and 4 Angels from Fallen Angel Reviews!

Electric Vamp: A Ferguson Films Fantasy by Erica Leigh Madson
Review by Brenda Talley ~ The Romance Studio --- Awarded 5 hearts!!

Sophie started her sophomore year at the University of Southern California. Her studies in history and economics while intense and rigid, were interesting and time consuming. Jerry was scheduled to start his freshman year after a year of working in the family filming business. He would be studying cinematography in order to secure the knowledge needed to succeed in the Ferguson Film empire.

In this the 3rd book of the trilogy, Jerry and Sophie have fallen in love, grown together, and then - oh my goodness - life happened! What a mess this loving couple found themselves in. Nothing, it seemed, could ever right this fiasco. Nothing any family member could do or say could change the circumstances facing this seemingly perfect-for-each-other couple.

This book could probably be read as a stand-alone but it definitely is perfect as an ending to this series. Ms. Erica Leigh Madson has, once again, outdone herself in presenting a real-life scenario and making it so genuine that it is amazingly realistic. The characters of Sophie and Jerry were even further developed. The sub characters, parents, grandmother, friends, roommates, etc. were built upon from the previous books. It was evident that Ms. Madson had prior knowledge of, or at least research into, the nuts and bolts of the film industry. All Jerry’s family was involved in the varied aspects of the business. Sophie’s mother and soon-to-be step father were supportive of her ability to maintain grades to continue to receive scholarships.

This fast-paced finale into the lives of Jerry and Sophie left me excited about their future. It was hard to see the series end because the books were great and, after the disastrous situations the couple faced in this book, it was doubtful there could be a hoped-for happy ending. This author has delivered an uplifting love story which expanded the ages of this young couple. Their interactions, both together and with their respective families, made them appear much more mature. This is a series not-to-be-missed. It is something that, no matter your genre preference, you will definitely enjoy.

Christine Andersen - August 2007
Interview with Fallen Angel Reviews

Today we get to chat with Christine Andersen, author of The Cannes Film Festival from Rosa Romance Publishing Company.

Hi Ms. Andersen, thank you so much for taking time to be with us here at Fallen Angel Reviews. Please tell our readers a bit about yourself and your writing.

Hi Donna! Thanks for having me ... but please call me CAnde ... Ms. Andersen seems so formal. Okay ... your readers want to know about me? Type A personality. My work is my life. When it gets to be too much I hide in books.
I read where you’ve been to The Cannes Film Festival nine times. What was that like?
Total insanity. I mean, I love it, don't get me wrong. But it is just like the chapter in the book I wrote with the same name -- The Cannes Film Festival -- what I wrote is not an exaggeration at all. Cannes during the Film Festival is 24 hour whirling motor drives, paparazzi chasing naked starlets down the beach, stars trying to avoid the cameras, producers trying to make deals on street corners as though we were drug dealers and not Hollywood power brokers. Great food but no way to get a reservation anywhere. Mostly bad movies screening 24/7 with promotion for sales of films to all the foreign markets going on constantly. A major movie zoo on a beach in the south of France, basically.
Did you go as a producer or as a film writer?
As either a producer or as a Film Company Exec, depending on the year. The Cannes Film Festival isn't for writers ... it's a venue for selling your usually finished film to foreign buyers for distribution, and for selling off foreign territories to get the advanced funding or to get a commitment so you can get the funding to make your film.
What was it about writing a book that made you want to be published?
Ah ... I can't imagine taking all the time out that it takes to write a book without getting it published. I am not someone who has time to write just for the love of it ... or maybe it's that Type A person talking here ... if it's not done as work, I don't value it in my life? It's like writing spec scripts. If I can't get them shot, what's the point?
How hard was it to write the sex scenes in The Cannes Film Festival?
Not difficult at all ... sex comes out of the characters and so the scenes with each individual have a style and a flow and the terminology that fits the people involved in each sex scene. Some are more loving, some are more graphic ... depends on the characters and the motivation with which they have the sex.
