The Cannes Film Festival
by Christine Andersen
Cheeky Beswick is a talented, experienced Movie Producer. Brittany Clark is a topaz-eyed, natural blond bombshell with talent and brains. Together they fight to get Cheeky's director, Jon Spector, to hire Brittany for the leading role of Cristal Rivers in the motion picture they are about to shoot, Aloha Countess.
During preproduction on the film, Cheeky and Brittany -- best friends on a mission which will help both their careers if they succeed -- struggle against the director's controlaholic, chauvinistic, Hollywood Old Boys attitude. They watch him juggle his Hollywood Wife Sheila, who needs a trip to Cannes to feel fulfilled, with the girlfriend Sheila doesn't know about who Jon takes to Hawaii on the locations scout.
Written by a feature film writer and producer, The Cannes Film Festival is an exciting but real look at the movie making experience which takes place all around the world; from Cannes in the south of France, to London, to Beverly Hills, and the Hawaiian Islands.
